What no one tells you about marathon training...

You knew there would be lots of this:
And even some days where you had to do this:
You were fairly certain there would be afternoons spent doing this:
And days doing this:
But what everyone failed to mention was that you would also see this:
And even this:
And the bedroom would collect just about everything:
And nothing would get crossed off:
So, although I am excited about this sweet moment:
I am also looking forward to having time and energy to devote to this:
And this:
And perhaps even purchasing a few of these:

THE END

That's cute - I hope you find time for the fun holiday stuff!
And I'm not even training for a marathon - yet that's pretty much what my house looks like right now! Who knew one little vacation could create a floor covered in laundry?? And I live alone!

LOL - I love it - and believe me, I've gotten the evil eye from hubby more than once because the sink/laundry/bedroom resembles that and yet I found time to run... priorities!

YES! lol. My husband told me last week, "I don't care if the dishes or the laundry are done, as long as you take the time to take care of you". He was talking about my running or cross-training. So I can no longer use housekeeping as an excuse...
