Because my last post wasn't long enough...

... I wanted to share some more of my dad's awesome photos from the race.  (Seriously, SportPhoto should take note... I think this is his niche... sport action photography... he needs to start a sport photography company.)  These were all taken at mile 11.5.  Right before we hit the lake (which you can see in the background on the first photo, which I absolutely love).

And for the record... wearing a bright green skirt and bright green socks was an excellent decision... I got TONS of cheers for "Green Skirt Girl" or "Green Sock Girl".  And when you're out there 5+ hours, ANY extra motivation helps!  When I was at my worst, I got one of those cheers and it made me run!

Love all the pics. Green is my favorite. I think you looked great. On all the runs I do by myself the crowds have always helped to get me through. Portland has the best crowd support ever.

That girl in the Santa outfit with the super tight tummy - that is so cute!

New plan ... bring your dad to the Princess 1/2, and I'll keep up with you so I, too, can have good race photos!

You're in luck RR... he's coming to Disney with me. Now, the question is whether or not he gets out of bed to see the race!!! It's so eaaaaaaarly.

Awesome!
Tell him he can sleep after the race. ... My mom is totally whining about wanting to sleep. But I told her she is my mommy and I NEED her to be there. I mean if I have to be up, so should she, right??

I loved your green skirt too, made it easy for me to find you in the race!!! So happy we crossed paths even if it was only for a min. It certainly brightened my mood when I saw you!

These are great photos. Might have to bring him to the Marathon Makeover 5K when we have it....he can sell the pics to the participants and get his business off the ground.

Those really are great. The one of the lead pack of men is my favorite. I can't imagine getting a shot that great!

I totally want Ms. Santa's tummy.
