First, a dangler from SportHooks. Haven't decided if I'll keep it as an ornament or hang it from the rearview mirror. I suggested to Marcey that she make these for every state, that way maybe someday I can fill my tree with 26.2s in the states I've run in!
A couple things on my wishlist that showed up under the tree... CW-X stability capri's and a black pair of CEPs:
Obviously, I know I love my CEPs, but I can't wait to try out the capri's and report back. I will say I was shocked when I took them out of the bag... they look like they could fit an American Girl doll, but with a lot of work, I was able to tuck all my bumps and jiggles into them. I definitely think I'll be sporting some shorts over these babies.
Then, I was surprised by my step-mother with a shirt I had never seen before, and cannot WAIT to wear it while training for the Disney Princess half (yes, it's a technical shirt):
In case you can't read it, it says "The race is my ball, my running shoes are my glass slippers, the finish line is my prince charming, and the accomplishment is my happily ever after." Love it. Best gift!
And finally, I got a new cookbook that I'd never heard of from my uncle:
Looking forward to flipping through it and trying some stuff out. I'll definitely be reporting back on this one!Lastly, my husband finished setting up my little "Lesley space", as he likes to call it:
So, did you get what was on your running wishlist this year???
Did you get anything that you hadn't seen before???

Aw great stuff and I love that tee shirt!
I didn't really get much on my running list except for the UA that hubby got - returned it all today for the NIKE gear and am a happy girl!
What a cool ornament!! That would be awesome if she had one for every state. Great gifts!!! I actually didn't get any running gear for Christmas (gasp) but I usually don't have a problem treating myself every once in awhile. ;) Happy New Year!
I believe that the Skinny Bitch has a show on the Cooking Channel called Bitchin' Kitchen. Might be the same person.
Not running related gifts but they are tri related. A Speedfil for my bike and a Lap counter for swimming
That cookbook looks awesome, and what a sweet shirt! I have a pair of CW-X tights that I like.
I received an awesome running necklace from my fiance and the Matt Long book "The Long Run" from my folks. Those are the only running related gifts I received. I don't usually ask for running gifts for Christmas; I just purchase what I need myself. But I do like my gifts!
Love YOUR space!! Great hubby!
I didn't get any running stuff... :( I really REALLY want a Garmin... maybe sometime soon...
I can't wait to hear about the Skinny Bitch cookbook,I have looked at that a few times.
Happy New Year
Nice! I LOVE that shirt - how awesome - especially for Disney! I hope you have a safe and happy New Year's this evening! :)
Awesome shirt! Why can't my family figure out cute running gifts for me? I get all boring non-running stuff! My mom actually did buy me the same CW-X running capris (my suggestion lol). I'll probably wear them for my full next weekend. I have full CW-X and they're AWESOME.....and yes, I still am amazed how tiny they look before I put them on!
OMG, I love that shirt so much!!! :)
Man, you scored! Great stuff. I got some new running clothes and a pair of Vibrams. Can't wait to try them out!
What an awesome Christmas! LOVE the tree ornament. You're right - they should make them for every state!
I don't want to say what I got that was on my running list .... because if I wanted it, well, I was the one that went out and bought it. (Then you'd all see how much I like to shop!) No gifts for me this year. :( But I am 99% happy with all of my purchases. I am curious to see what you think of your compression capris. I bought some from Zensah and they were a huge disappointment. I bought the smallest size and they are still too big for me - and it's not like I'm some tiny little thing. And they already have a snag in them after maybe 3 wearings. :(
Today I am going to finally give myself the ultimate running gift I've been wanting ... the Prefontaine inspired necklace. I really wanted to have it for the 1/2 so I could have a bit o' Pre with me!
The Texas medal is pretty great!
Awesome gifts!! Your family sure knows you well! Thanks for the marathon advice you left on my blog. I feel like we have a lot in common running-wise, and you're a few steps ahead of me, so your words mean a lot. Happy new year!
